Here's a brief rundown of what we offer: Website Solutions HostIGR, being a small business itself, recognizes that you may not need the high powered solutions that are out there. Instead, we focus on finding and making available the several turn key solutions that exist out on the web so you can have a professionally designed website with minimal fuss. The main technologies we're focusing on (but not limited to) are: Joomla! is a amazing system to work with. It allows you to use shopping carts connected to any web based payment system, write articles, display pictures and movies, and looks very professional. This site was built using Joomla and VirtueMart. VirtueMart is a web commerce solution that allows you to set up a store, manage inventory, receive and track payments and invoices, and automatically deal with customers. WordPress is an e-publishing suite that lets you blog, post articles, and generally create a professional looking publishing site. Drupal is a content management system much like Joomla or WordPress, but simpler to use and maintain (though that trade off comes with some limited functionality as well). All of these technologies are Content Management Systems (CMS's). They let you write using an editor, publish your writing to the web, and deal with menus and forms rather than have to know how to use the code that goes into a website. They all also use templates to make the site even more customizeable. You can find a template that fits your vision. Templates are often free, but for some of the most professional templates or templates without references to the author on them, you may have to pay a small fee (usually between $10 and $50) to use it. Hosting Solutions Have a website, but lacking a place to display it? Fed up with your previous hosting company? HostIGR started providing hosting services to be a "one stop shop" for customers that want it. We offer one Gb of space (more than enough for most companies), 100Gb of bandwidth per month, unlimited databases, unlimited subdomains, 50 e-mail accounts, and 10 ftp accounts. This server is up over 95% of the time (lower than industry standard, but also cheaper ... downtimes are usually for software updates), and sitting on a floor in Florida with a tech crew watching over it 24/7. It's not as perfectly stable as some of the more professional hosting sites, but if you're just getting your business off the ground, it's a great place to start. Computers New to our lineup is the offering of computers for sale. We try to find used computers that no one wants or that no longer work, and then we spend time rebuilding them or recycling them. Many people don't know where to recycle a computer, even though they know that they should recycle them. If you are in this category, we'd love to help you and the earth out and take that broken or old computer off your hands. Computers that we can piece together or rebuild, we then put fresh operating systems on and sell for a very reduced price. Some computers have gone out for as little as $75! --This computer was a 700MHz machine with Ubuntu installed on it-- We also build custom computers. Have a need for a great processing machine?
